Contestants can enter every month, submitting either the same or a different mix for judging. After a widespread search lasting seven months, a lucky group of finalists, the “top 7” will be announced.
The “top 7” will be asked to activate their self-promotion skills with Pioneer opening up the competition for peers to vote for their fav “top 7 finalist” mix. From the “top 7”, the three finalists with the most peer votes will automatically become the 2011 Pioneer DJ Search “top 3”.
From the “top3”, a Pioneer assembled judging panel will be left with the exhaustive task of choosing a winner, which will be announced on 21st December, 2011.
To get started:
Sign Up and log into Mydjspace.
Select the My Music menu.
Select Add Music.
From the first option (type) select Pioneer DJ Mix and enter the relevant details.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Save.
Your listing will now be displayed in the list.
Select the upload icon.
Browse for your mix and save.
Mixes must be in MP3 format.
