The “Entry Period” for this competition commences at 12.01am AEST on 1/5/11 and concludes at 11.59pm AEST on 30/11/11. ("Entry Period"). The competition is its entirety commences at 12.01am AEST on 1/5/11 and concludes at 11.59pm AEST on 21/12/11.
Throughout the period of the competition, Pioneer will award a single monthly winner (“Mix of the Month”). Each single monthly winner will automatically qualify as a top 7 finalist.
Monthly entry commences at 12:01am AEST on 1st day of each month and concludes at 11:59pm AEST on the 30th day of each month. Monthly winners will be announced on the following dates:
♣ Monthly Winner #1: 2/6/11
♣ Monthly Winner #2: 4/7/11
♣ Monthly Winner #3: 2/8/11
♣ Monthly Winner #4: 2/9/11
♣ Monthly Winner #5: 3/10/11

Entrants can only be awarded a monthly winner once. Entrants are limited to one mix submission per month; however they can enter the same mix or a different mix every month.
All 7 monthly winners (Top 7 finalist) will be announced at 9:00am AEST on 3/12/11.
Once 7 monthly winners have been announced, a “Public Voting” period will commence to secure TOP 3 finalists. TOP 3 finalists determined by peer voting. 3 entrants with highest number of votes will automatically qualify as a TOP3 finalist.
“Public Voting” period for TOP 3 finalists commences at 9:00am AEST on 3/12/11 and concludes at 3.00pm AEST on 13/12/11. ("Public Voting" period)
From the TOP 3 finalists, 1 winner will be judged and selected by a Pioneer-assembled judging panel.
Each of the eligible TOP 3 finalist's will be individually judged based on the following criteria:
♣ creativity (35%)
♣ technical ability (35%)
♣ active involvement in competition (Pioneer Facebook posts/MDS posts/etc) (30%)
All Eligible Entrants must be able to perform a live set on Pioneer DJ equipment.
The judges' decisions are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
To enter and be eligible to win a prize, an Eligible Entrant must during the Entry Period: ♣ Visit the competition page via the mydjspace website: www.mydjspace.com ♣ Must be a fan of the Pioneer Australia Facebook Fan Page ♣ Post a link to your mydjspace mix on the Pioneer Australia Facebook Fan Page ♣ Your mix must adhere to the following specifications ♣ Mixes must be a minimum of 20 minutes in length. ♣ A playlist including all the track details in your mix to be listed via the music manager. ♣ Accepted uploads must be in mp3 format. ♣ Complete the following fields in your profile information including but not limited to name, address, phone number, date of birth and a valid email address.
This competition is a game of skill in which chance plays no part in determining the winners.
The judges' decisions are final and no further correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter, in their absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
Each entry will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility with be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries, or entries not received for any reason during the Entry Period or for any other periods of unavailability or technical difficulties with the online entry mechanism. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible to win.
Any incidental costs associated with accessing the Pioneer Pro DJ website, for example any charges an entrant may incur from their Internet Service provider when accessing the Internet, are the entrant's own responsibility.
There is one 1st prize to be won.
1st prize comprises of the following elements:

♣ Performance at a major Australian dance music festival.
Mix of the Month comprises of the following elements: ♣ HDJ-1000 headphones
The winners will be announced between 12 noon and 5pm AEST on 21st of December 2011. They will be notified by telephone and will be announced on the website www.mydjspace.com.
All winners throughout the competition will be announced on the website www.mydjspace.com.
Prizes will be delivered to the winner’s nominated address within 28 days of the winner being announced.
In the event that the winner will be under the age of 18 years on the day of the dance music festival event, the winner must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years (at the cost of the entrant).
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. The Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with the Promotion take no responsibility for prizes lost or damaged in transit, or for any delay in delivery of prizes.
The Promoter excludes any liability in connection with any failure by a winning entrant to operate the products.
The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If any prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter will, in its absolute discretion, substitute alternative goods or services of no lesser retail value and/or specification. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by an Eligible Entrant or any third party if any prize (or part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.
Each winning entrant consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in any media at any time or times without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition, the Promoter and/or any of the Promoter's products.
To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the "Relevant Parties") exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) whatsoever which is suffered or incurred by any entrant arising out of, or in any way connected with, the competition or prizes, including: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from any negligent act or omission of any of the Relevant Parties; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death.
