Biography

DJ Semetic lands in Bristol for 2009. More than just another dj, a performer, an entertainer, producer and promoter of fantastic nights of audio arts. With over 15 years experience Jai brings his unique blend of dj booth shenanigans, mixing skills. pro mic ability and charisma to Bristol. Throughout his career he has learnt his trade along side some of the worlds greatest DJs including Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Boy George and Carl Cox to name a few, this has enabled him to keep his finger well and truly on the pulse. Whilst most DJs specialize in a style, Jai is versatile enough to please any crowd and has a reputation for adding unlimited energy to his performances. You can always find him dancing as much as the crowd while he plays. Jai's energy and ability to work the crowd earns him respect where ever he plays and he has an uncanny ability to read the dance floor & move the crowd, whilst unconsciously stimulating the senses of the most ardent of crowds. Jai is now available for discussions about possible residencies, guest dj bookings or promotional work. Having played at clubs and bars both here and abroad, Ibiza, Magaluf and Majorca he is at home as much in bars as he is in clubs being able to create the necessary vibe and atmosphere as required. Together with his mic work Jai plays a wide range of musical styles including Commercial dance and Chart, Funky house, Trance, Electro house, Breaks and Chillout, Jai has also been known to throw down some weird and wonderful experimental Electro beats.
