Biography
Sizzle! Pop! Spark! Watch out, the dynamic Rap group, Fyah are about to explode in the music scene. It all started in Miami, FL in the early 1990s’ when Brandon Adderley and Akeem Crawford became best friends. As youngsters they grew up on different styles of rap and beats, each listening to a different flavor of music. From the tender age of 7, Adderley, known as B-Wick, started raping with a karaoke machine and for years, had a hard street and freestyle rap preference, which later got him to join rap group, 38 Hot. Akeem Crawford, known as KrispyKeem, ‘the smooth lady grabber’ as people often call him, started making beats after a strong passion for playing instruments, which later was incorporated into the group 38 Hot with B-Wick. Keeping the vibe spicy, both B-Wick and KrispyKeem put their talents together for the ultimate collaboration creating the exhilarating hot new rap group, “Fyah.” KrispyKeem and B-Wick explain, “We are different in the sense that our music isn’t all serious, we have fun with our songs making them for a club scene and the females. We rap about life situations and struggles.” Fyah, in 2011 entered the Coast To Coast Rap Competition located in South Florida competing for a winning prize of $10,000 for promotional use. Fresh out of collaborating, they won the competition beating out ten other prominent contenders. This illuminated the flame for Fyah, when A1 Records, an independent South Florida record label signed B-Wick and Keem. A1 Records produced Fyah’s first self-titled mixtape, with nineteen hits, including “Party” ft. Chadillac, produced by AYO THE PRODUCER working with major artists such as LiL Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake, Roscoe Dash, Yung Berg) a volcanic song that blew up virally on YouTube with over 200,000 views to date. In addition they have released a second mixtape called “Street Lovin” which contains sixteen songs. Recently they completed another project with Ace Hood in his new music video, “Memory Lane.” Keeping up the gusto, Fyah, have released a new single for “Drinks on Me,” which is off of their first mixtape “Fyah” can be purchased now on iTunes. Music video to be released soon, directed by Antwan Smith who has worked with major artists such as Rick Ross, Trina, Flo-Rida, and Trey Songz. This versatile group offers something that everyone will love with their quirky style to vibrant personalities, Fyah is sure to set the record high as an incoming rap group with a twist.
