I use studio headphones before? why are they callled studio headphones because they are not shielded sound the sound bleeds through, try them in a night club or a rave then come back to me. Most studio headphones are not design for Dj use! Plus I got my head phones free, you get things like that when your do real dj-ing.
I saw already I get natiive instrument e-mails, Yes very nice it the S4's little bro. This is made to be more portable than the S4, it's a bit smaller and has only one phono on the back. But it still can controllor Traktor properly, you still all the hot cues loop and triggers plus fx eq's. This is a really good machine if you want to be a real digital Dj " But " I still would'nt get one the jog-wheels are in the wrong place!! thats why I got the Denon MC6000 same as the S4 but the jog-wheels are in the right place for a scratch Dj. No scratch Dj would put the mixer in front of the tuntables....?
