QGiven your heavy schedule these days how do you keep your productions fresh and where do you draw your inspiration from?

AWith most of my productions and remixes, I try to focus on a set goal every year. My extreme focus and what i believe in my heart for my fans is to accomplish better then good EPs for my label Traffica and the many labels i work with. Actually we just released September 19, 2011" Morocco Marko Nastic Drumpunch remix" which can be found on Marshal Groove Remix compilation in which i worked in collaboration with Igor Krsmanovicsuch.

I also released this earlier on September 5, 2011 my Original track "melting pot" on Estrada Records. These tasks and project of intense creations as a whole take place during the first 6 months of the year January to June, The Summer time I see for my fans and music taste-makers as "Music for the people! time". My plan next year is to be based in Ibiza and are hopefully planning to have a successful residency at one of the amazing venues there, With that being said I sure my management wil brings some extra gear so i can work on my ideas and build upon my experiences there to Rock out Ibiza weekly along with the festival itineraries and tour schedule we are planning in 2012!

QBeing one of the few DJ's around that still play vinyl and given the present environment where the DJ technique has been compromised by technology, how do you keep your skills sharp?

AThe way i was taught by my uncle and my brother was understanding the meaning of deliberate practice. I see it as your skills cannot just run away from u! Its like riding a bike once you have it down pact you understand! Being a professional performer dj is similar to a jet pilot of how many hour quintessential to become a top tier maverick! ! I keep my skills sharp in the way of listening records to my record collection, new tracks of course and preparing for the Music for the Body and Soul radio Episodes which we have decided to syndicate globally on many of your favorite internet radio stations such as pulseradio.net ,radiosaturn.net, inmyradio.com, gravyfm, mydjspace, B92 and so many more! We are hopefully soon looking at satellite networks such as Sirius!

With regards to DJ's technique being compromised by technology? i don't really have problem with that! As I am a firm believer of hands-on experience and just dislike if or when used in the wrong way  !!!

QHow did you first get into DJ'ing?

AI started working at the age of 15 in "Happy People" record shop in Belgrade, It was actually the first ever record shop in legend, proud to say that! :) From that special experience i got my first performing dj gig and the experience was astonishing to see so many people coming to see a 16 year old kid playing beats, This brings me beautiful memories!

QYou recently played at Belgrade Foam Festival, what was it like and how was the crowd there?

AI have played as an actual resident as it has already been 3 years on that massive event It one of my favorite events that i love to close out the party! Its about roughly 12,000 people event! Along the many artist that play there are Cristian Varela. Tom Novy and Antoine clamaran! I actually played b2back set with my buddy Dejan Milicevic

QWhat can your audiences expect from you on the dance floor from your up and coming tours?

AThey can expect to be in for a Super Cool journey of Straight dubious house with a compilation of techno banging knockers! As like play this game as "Marko Nastic is Music for the people at all times to reach your Body and Soul!: This is what I do is try to reach the music hearts and mind of everyone possible as this is what i strive to achieve for Shizle in the word of Snoop Dog!

QWhat have been some of the highlights for you this year?

AExit festival was straight Butterflies! was the event of events this year in Novi Sad,Serbia! I played twice in the beginning of the exit festival and me closing Dance Arena 40,000 people heavy on the closing Sunday, I advise anyone that love music the Exit Festival can be compared to the Super Bowl, French Open, World Cup of Festivals when it comes to music insanity in Novi Sad with over 250,000 people over the duration! Not an issue! :)

QWhat are some of your favorite DJ's and producers at the moment?

Ai love the works and productions of dj koze, also i have very much enjoyment for dan andrei and ricardo villalobos

QWhat makes a good DJ?

ASuperior record collection

QWhat is your choice of weapon these days when producing?

AWhen i open my machine, i relax! Sampling to me i think thats most important element in producing in my eyes!

QHow has your sound changed over the years?

AMy sounds have evolved through the years. with my transition from tribal techno to house and tech house sounds. It was not easy and a true adaption to creating music for all the people not just a certain genre, This never though stopped me from playing what i really love and where i find my self creativity.
