Wil Young first fell in love with making music during 2003, with early beginnings smashing a drum kit around. Not long after, he picked up a microphone and spent many hours as the lead vocalist for a local band while also dabbling with bass guitar and keyboard.
In early 2007, as a fresh faced 18 year old, Wil became a resident DJ at the hottest nightspot in his local town of Deniliquin (NSW) and could be found playing a mix of commercial & electro-house on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at the Feddeee. It was here Wil began perfecting what it took to please a crowd.
By the end of the year, Wil became a resident DJ, Director and event manager at the newest bar in Deniliquin, where he was given the responsibility to transform the venue into what people would want in a nightclub – 3 years later, barCODEblue is still the most popular venue in town.
Currently based in Melbourne, Wil is best recognised for playing big room dutch and progressive house fused with dark underground techno. - Website
