Music has always been a key aspect of Ovan (aka Dj.o) life. From a young age he learned to play guitar and recently took a quick piano help
understand the concepts of life and production music.
Originally from South Africa, Ovan moved to san francisco, CA with his family. Ovan did not take long to start experimenting with DJ equipment and musical genres, considering the impressive house music and help from other comprehensive DJ and producer.
"I always wanted to stay up to date with new music, producers and styles
production is strongly influenced by the likes of Fat Freddy's Drop, Justin Long,
Hugo (Italy), Claude Vonstroke, Santiago and Bushido, Hijack, Nate Laurence, Hector Couto and many others to make my own inspiration. "
Ovan produce and Dj on the more techy side of house music with his love for funky, rolling basslines and a touch of unique additional sampling.

Ovan has begun to direct attention toward the future and have planned launch his own label, is rumored to be the beginning of 2012. With his love for music, creative energy and great enthusiasm for the pioneering sound, dj and producer Ovan is to keep your eye!
