According to Pharrell Williams, N*E*R*D*’s highly anticipated fourth album is just as progressive as their last. For those fans of the old-school rock, ‘Nothing’ is apparently ‘Riders on the Storm’ meet ‘Hotel California’ with Pharrell describing the album as a mix between ‘The Doors’ and ‘America’. Anyone who has listened to the hip-hop funk band know that N*E*R*D* is Pharrell’s brainchild and it seems that with ‘Nothing’, he is being more adventurous than ever.

We first heard this remix a little while back but now we get some visuals to go with it. Boys Noize takes on N*E*R*D’s hit record 'Hot-N-Fun' and puts his trademarked electro sounds all over the track (which as usual he does really well!).

The Chemical Brother’s latest album, ‘Further,’ came out with a special edition DVD, which follows the lead character, Caroline, through an abstract world that she dives into. The creators of the ‘Further’ visual experience, Adam Smith and Marcus Lyall, take the eight tracks into a vein of igniting colours, frivolous energy and glowing warmth. Personal favourite is the 1920s futuristic feel of ‘Horse Power,’ which gives off the cubist toy-horse come-to-life feeling every time it belts out a neigh. The interactive Youtube trailer for the DVD/album, provides a preview of Caroline’s adventures in the psychedelic silhouette world of ‘Further.’

The King of Pop is to be resurrected again, as a new, untitled Michael Jackson album is set for release in November 2010. Jackson’s former manager, Frank DiLeo told Rolling Stone that this new collection would feature 10 previously unreleased songs ranging from the 80's to some contemporary collaborations with Akon, Will.i.am and Ne-Yo. "There are a couple of songs we recorded for the 'Bad' album that we had to cut that are just sensational," DiLeo said. However, Black Eyed Peas’ frontman, Will.i.am has publicly criticised plans to release the Jackson album, as it does not have Jackson’s blessing.
